11TH EAC JUA KALI/NGUVU KAZI EXPO,2009,TANZANIA

Dear Stake Holders,

REF: INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 11TH, EAST AFRICAN COMMUNITY JUA KALI/NGUVU KAZI EXHIBITION SCHEDULED FOR 23rd TO 29TH NOVEMBER, 2009 IN DAR ES SALAAM -UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA

The East African Community Partner States through East Africa Confederation of Informal Sector Organisations (EAC-CISO) and the EAC Secretariat as a platform have been carrying out marketing initiatives for the MSE Sector products and services through regional exhibitions since 1999.the sector has evolved into a major platform for industrialization and promotion of the potential inherent in the informal sector. It has also been the main driver of social integration in the process of establishing the East African Community, thus providing a crucial factor to propel the process of regional integration

The Exhibition is organized to bring together Micro and Small Entrepreneurs (MSEs) from the East African Region aimed at opening up new market frontiers for their products, encouraging dialogue between the regional entrepreneurs, exchange of ideas and technology through conferences, seminars and workshops, and at the same time reducing poverty in the region through enhanced industrial and commercial trade between the artisans.

The above initiative is managed through the EAC Steering Committee, EA-CISO Secretariat and the Partner States Ministries responsible for MSE development, Sponsors and CISO Country Chapters.

It is now the United Republic of Tanzania’s time to host the 11th, East African Jua Kali/Nguvu Kazi Exhibition this year where we expect to have 1000 exhibitors from the region.

We wish to invite you to participate with us during the said exhibition

Thank you.
